Born the youngest of 4 children, Christina attended the Professional Children's School in New York. Her screen debut was in Mermaids at the age of nine, opposite Cher.
Seven years later, in 1997 she starred as a young seductress in The Ice Storm, which was her real breakthrough adult role.
In between, she had portrayed the sinister child Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and The Addams Family Values. She had also been seen in Casper and Now and Then before she 'grew up' on screen.
Before she began directing, Christina formed her own production company, Blaspheme Films and began to work on her own projects.
In Don Roos' The Opposite of Sex, Christina had one of the best roles of her career, playing the film's narrator - a pregnant teen with major attitude.
