Born in 1970, Mindy Paige Davis and her family moved from Philadelphia to Louisville before her teens. A young gymnast, Davis enjoyed a normal childhood and was inspired to entertain after discovering her mother's West Side Story album. After high school, Davis attended the Meadows School of Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Following graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a performer.
